Ceiling fan pull chain, pulling down a refreshing breeze

Although some people prefer the wall switch or even a remote control, there's nothing like the classic ceiling fan pull chain to set it spinning. Call me a nostalgic old-timer, but I think there's some magic to it… and if you have grown up in a house with a pull chain ceiling fan (which is more than likely), you'll know what I'm talking about.

Of course, pull chains have come a long way : they know are safer, designed to break if too much force is applied, preventing it from causing any harm to anyone. And if your pull chain is getting to old, there are countless ceiling fan accessory stores where you'll be able to get a brand new one.

Although some lazy people can argue it's a lot more comfortable to control your ceiling fan from the couch using a remote control, with the Ceiling fan pull chain you can absolutely say you'll never need to replace its batteries, or search around the room to find it. In the end it comes down to everyone's preference. But if it were for me, I'd never replace a pull chain for any other method to start/stop a ceiling fan.
